Welcome to Christ the Good Shepherd Parish (CTGS), the Roman Catholic Parish encompassing the City of Oswego and Town of Scriba.

CTGS was formed as a unification of the parishes of St. Paul,        St. Joseph, St. Stephen the King, St. Peter, Sacred Heart, and the territory of St. Mary of the Assumption, plus the closed parishes of St. John the Evangelist and St. Louis.

Richly steeped in the traditions of our heritage, CTGS strives to be a community faithful to Christ and His Church.

Join us,  and we hope you will find in our parish a welcoming home where you can meet the Lord through faithful worship and the warmth of good fellowship. See you at Mass!

Peace and all good things,
Fr. John Canorro

(St. Mary of the Assumption was transferred to an oratory/personal parish
for the Latin Community in 2019 and a Diocesan Shrine in 2021.
